Spotted during an April walk on the Loch Indaal Way coastal path: Two Oystercatchers hunting for food in a grassy field on the shore of Loch Indaal. In the distance the Paps of Jura are towering over the scene.

An amazing view to get up to, looking out over Loch Indaal with the lighthouse in some beautiful April morning sunshine. Seen from the top floor of the Temperance House in Port Charlotte.

Spotted on the shore between Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte on the Rhinns of Islay: A tiny knoll (well, really a large stone with turf covering it) just opposite the Paps of Jura in the distance across Loch Indaal.
