This Border Collie seemed to be quite keen to say hi to the stranger with the camera, when it spotted me it ran all the way from the dunes across the beach over to me. A quick hello and off it was again, back to its owner at the dunes.
Some of the thousands of Barnacle Geese wintering on Islay, here seen on Kilchoman beach in Machir Bay. After feeding through the night under a moonlit sky they were roosting on the beach in the morning.
Seen from Kilchoman beach, a lenticular cloud is coming in over Machir Bay on the west coast of Islay. Taken on a beautiful November day (the same day as the lenticular clouds over the Kilchoman dunes).
