A view across Ardnave Loch on a June late afternoon, a pair of Mute Swans feeding with their cygnets. Also a few Sand Martins (I think) flying past.
The shore of the Sound of Islay is an excellent place to watch Islay’s varied wildlife. Not long after watching this Seal and Swan we watched an Otter just a few hundred yards down the shore.
As the title says, two low flying Mute Swans in the Sound of Islay. Taken during an excursion to Islay’s neighbour Jura.
