Currie Sands is one of the smallest beaches on Islay, but still very popular. While on the west coast it is protected from the Atlantic. There are nice views to the Rhinns of Islay lighthouse from the beach.
A view from Four Winds (former Coastguard tower, now holiday cottage) on a beautiful June evening, not long before sunset. The view is south to Orsay with the impressive Rhinns of Islay lighthouse.
