In the previous picture this Pied Wagtail was just getting ready to fly off, here it is flying off the old post at Islay’s RSPB Loch Gruinart reserve.
Regular visitors to this blog might recognise the post seen from the old hide at RSPB Loch Gruinart, it’s the same a Snipe sat on previously (1, 2). This time a Pied Wagtail landed on it, although it didn’t stay around for long. After less than a minute it was getting ready to fly off again, here starting to stretch its wings.
