Caol Ila with the distillery on the other side of the Sound of Islay. Port Charlotte in the distance on the shore of Loch Indaal. Port Charlotte Lighthouse and the Paps of Jura, Isle of Islay

Picture of a small lighthouse with a sea loch and mountains in the backgroundOfficially it’s the Loch Indaal lighthouse, but then again many people know it as the Port Charlotte lighthouse as that’s the village it’s next to. One of my favourite view on Islay on a clear day, the lighthouse with Loch Indaal and the Paps of Jura in the background.
