Spotted in the Sound of Islay from a passing ferry, the Black Rocks buoy near the southern end. Looking quite dirty compared to another time I photographed it, mainly because some Shags seem to have taken up residence on it.

Beautiful in the shade and in the sun, or a combination of both: Gleann Choireadail at the southern end fo the Sound of Islay, seen here on a beautiful April evening from the ferry.

Another view of the Ronjafisk in the Sound of Islay, seen from a ferry en route to Kennacraig. McArthur’s Head lighthouse just visible in the distance on the left.
