Admittedly it’s only a small tree, but I found it interesting how it grows on the top of this rock stump. Not where I would really expect a tree to grow. Spotted during a walk on Jura along the Sound of Islay.
A beautiful April day in 2015, not a cloud in the sky. A great day for a ferry crossing with amazing views. Sgorr nam Faoileann (429m) in the centre, behind it towards the left is Glas Bheinn (472m).
