A cut in the cliffs of the Oa in the south of Islay, looking out to sea with Ireland just visible in the far distance. A burn running down into the sea.
A view from near the American Monument on the Oa. After earlier rain the sun is breaking through. The rain can still be seen on the horizon, moving away south west.
You’ll have to look closely to see them, but there is a group of walkers walking along the cliffs opposite. This is in the far south of the Oa, looking west. Beinn Mhór (202m), our destination, visible in the distance. I believe this is just above Rubh’a’Bhuic (not visible, on the left).
