One of the many summits conquered during the Islay walking week 2019, here we are on Carn nan Gillean (188m) north of Bridgend. Loch Indaal visible in the background on the right.
A view west from the summit of Beinn Dubh (267m) during the Islay walking week 2019. Loch Leathann on the left, Loch Fada on the right. If you look closely you can just about make out Loch Indaal in the haze in the distance.
I don’t know its name (nothing is mentioned on my OS map) but this is a burn flowing through a small glen in the far south of Islay, close to the most southerly point on Islay. We had to cross it during our walk on the Oa during the Islay walking week 2019.
