Looking the other direction from the earlier Window into the Past of the Port Charlotte Hotel, a view south on Main Street. Not a regular sight these days, but back when the old picture was taken a common sight, someone in a horse cart travelling down the Rhinns of Islay

This one was a real challenge to align, I’m afraid this version is one of the better ones I managed with this old picture. Bruichladdich distillery how it looked a long time ago in how it looks today. For some better alignments of another Islay distillery try Laphroaig (1) and Laphroaig (2).
