I played with this dog for a while during a visit to Laphroaig distillery in June 2024, it kept returning various sticks from Loch Laphroaig as I threw them out for it. Not sure if it was local, but it didn’t seem to belong to any of the other visitors around, so I assume it is living somewhere at Laphroaig or nearby on Islay.
It was found in Loch Laphroaig over a decade ago, first it was left on the pier, now the rusty old anchor is leaning against warehouse 1 of Laphroaig distillery.
