Spotted just as I was walking out of Laphroaig distillery, a deer with fairly impressive antlers. Was it looking for a wee dram of good Islay single malt whisky?

Spotted on the shore of Loch Indaal below Ard-Chruaidh outside Bowmore: A dozen Whooper Swans opposite Bruichladdich with the distillery and warehouses.

A beautiful view from Bunnahabhain pier in the north of Islay on a sunny April afternoon, looking across the Sound of Islay to Jura with the amazing Paps of Jura. I quite like the bright red painted mooring bollards, a nice touch of colour.
