One of the best excursions from Islay, a visit to the Corryvreckan Whirlpool in the Gulf of Corryvreckan between Jura and Scarba. Some nice white water whirling while the whirlpool is running.
En route to the Corrycreckan, a few Seals near Kinuachdrachd close to the northern end of Islay’s neighbour Jura.
A view you’ll only get by going out on a boat. This one of some steep cliffs and a rocky sea shore on the west of Scarba is from a tour with Venture West to the Corryvreckan and around Scarba in April 2023. A great excursion from Islay or on a journey to/from Islay.
