I’m not sure where I took this picture of a curious Highland Cow peeking over the fence, I think it might have been in the Cairndow area, possibly on the track to the Fyne Ales brewery.

On of my favourite stops on the journey to Islay is at Loch Lomond, either at Firkin Point or around Duck Bay. During a visit in November I stopped for this view of a snow capped Ben Lomond across a calm Loch Lomond.
