A few Oystercatchers in the autumn morning sunshine in Inveraray, Aray Bridge (Inveraray Bridge) in the background.
An inviting bench (I’ve sat on it as well) to enjoy the view over Loch Fyne near Inveraray. The bench is next to the watchtower/folly above Inveraray Castle, near the summit of Dun na Cuaiche (248m). A great stop on the journey to Islay, from memory the walk up the hill doesn’t take very long and the views on a sunny day are very rewarding.
Travelling to and from Islay through Argyll in the autumn can provide some beautiful sights with the trees in full autumn colours. This view shows Aray Bridge (Inveraray Bridge) with a few Oystercatchers on the pier wall in Inveraray.
