Geese in a snowy field in Cumbria (Journey from Islay)

Another memory from the unusual snowy return journey from Islay in early December 2023. The next morning I went for a winter wonderland walk in the area, among other things I noticed these geese sitting in a snow covered field with the fence stretching into the distance. I quite like the monochrome colours in this view.

Something a bit different, a memory from an unusual return journey from Islay at the start of December 2023. Driving on the M6 through Cumbria it started to snow quite heavily, after a treacherous drive I safely arrived at the service station hotel where I was staying for the night. After taking my luggage out of the car I couldn’t resist the pun and had to build a Mini snowman on my Mini Clubman. Hope you like it.
