Burn near Mala Bholsa, Isle of Islay

An impression from a walk around the north of Islay, from Killinallan to Rhuvaal and on to Bunnahabhain. I’m not sure which one this is, but here’s a burn flowing through a deep gorge near Mala Bholsa (I think it might be Allt na Caillich, based on the direction it’s flowing). Mala Bholsa towering over the view in the background.
The road to Kilchoman, Isle of Islay

Usually the final stretch of the drive for my Islay visits, the winding single track road to Kilchoman to arrive at Kilchoman House Cottages. I love how the road swings up the hill and past the dunes, often there’s a big bull in the field on the right, just below the sand dune. The ruin of Kilchoman Church at the end of the road.
