A November morning on the Rhinns of Islay, looking over Port Charlotte, Loch Indaal and the Mull of Oa in the distance on the left. Some very heavy rain over the North Channel behind Port Charlotte.
Spotted from the much bigger Islay ferry, the small Jura ferry MV Eilean Dhiura crossing the Sound of Islay. If you look closely you also just spot Rhuvaal lighthouse in the distance. Not to mention Colonsay and Oronsay on the horizon.
Spotted just as I was walking out of Laphroaig distillery, a deer with fairly impressive antlers. Was it looking for a wee dram of good Islay single malt whisky?
