Always a nice stop on the drive to Islay, Inveraray on the shore of Loch Fyne.

A stunning April morning on the west coast of Scotland, a view from the north east of Jura. You can just make out Barnhill (where Orwell wrote 1984) just left of centre. We walked past on our way to the Corryvreckan whirlpool with an Islay walking week excursion.

On my way to an evening ferry to Islay I stopped in Tarbert for a fish supper and a nice view over the harbour.
