It isn’t always sunny on Islay, sometimes it rains, sometimes it’s heavy low clouds hanging over the island for hours on end. Here seen from Ballitarsin on an October morning. You can still spot the Bruichladdich warehouses on the other side of the loch. Oh, and the next morning it was sunny again.
A beautiful sunny October morning at Ballitarsin, a fantastic view over the varied landscape: Loch Indaal stretching out into the distance towards the left, a field with grazing sheep below us. the famous Paps of Jura in the distance peeking over the hills on the right.
