A view south west from above Daill, looking aross Bridgend Woods out over Loch Indaal. Bowmore on the left on this side of the loch. In the distance below Beinn Tart a’Mhill on the Rhinns of Islay you can make out Port Charlotte. Towards the right Bruichladdich with the distillery warehouses.

The counterpart to the starry night sky over Ballitarsin, the view out over Loch Indaal from it. Plenty of stars up in the night sky, you can just about make out the Milky Way. The lights of three villages in the distance, Bowmore and behind it Port Charlotte on the left and Bruichladdich on the right. A car driving past lighting up the single track road below. Something I’d usually avoid in a starry night picture, but I think here it enhances it.
