A view from just outside of Bruichladdich distillery on a nice April evening on Islay. I can’t remember exactly, but this was during some kind of online Twitter tasting a few years back where I had the opportunity to join the Bruichladdich team taking pictures around the distillery while tasting whisky.
This one was a real challenge to align, I’m afraid this version is one of the better ones I managed with this old picture. Bruichladdich distillery how it looked a long time ago in how it looks today. For some better alignments of another Islay distillery try Laphroaig (1) and Laphroaig (2).
Seen from Bowmore pier across Loch Indaal, the new warehouses of Bruichladdich distillery at the southern side of the village (the original warehouses are behind the distillery, not in the picture to the right). I believe trees have been planted around them to make them less visible once the trees have grown up.
