Coast seen from Mala Bholsa, Isle of Islay

Image

Picture of a remote coastline with cliffs and beachesA view southwest from the top of Mala Bholsa (127m) in the north of Islay. An amazing coastline with raised beaches, cliffs, beaches, natural arches, caves and more. In the distance Loch Gruinart can just be seen cutting deep into Islay. On the right Ardnave Point with Nave Island off it. In the far distance the hills at Sanaigmore can be seen. Just below some of the deers living in this remote part of Islay.

Deer on Beinn Shiantaidh, Isle of Jura

Picture of a deer on a hillside with heather and boulders

A slightly unexpected view on the descent from the summit of Beinn Shiantaidh, as I hadn’t known they go up that high. One of the many thousand deer on Jura on the hillside just below the pure scree higher up.
