A view up the Sound of Islay from the Islay ferry on the way to Port Askaig on a hazy June evening. Rhuvaal lighthouse in the distance on the left. Colonsay in the far distance. Also a random (and annoyingly slightly out of focus) gull over the Sound.

A look back from the Islay ferry arriving in Port Askaig, looking at the trees on the hillside just south of Dunlossit House. The mild June evening sun is just reaching over the hill, lighting up the trees in some beautiful mild light.
