It’s quite small, but still very beautiful: The small sandy beach near Port na Gallochoille on Islay’s neighbour Gigha. Seen here on a June evening with sunny intervals. Kintyre in the background.

A view from the beach at Port na Carraigh at the southern end of Islay’s neighbour Gigha. I don’t know if the burn running across the beach has a name (nothing on the OS map). Lots of stones, rocks and even boulders around, as well as seaweed and more. In the distance you can also spot Cara Island.

Spotted outside the holiday cottage I was staying in on Gigha, a young Rabbit not long after a heavy rain shower in the sun just breaking through.
