I watched this Ringed Plover running around on a small beach at Craighouse on Jura, kicking up sand as it ran.

I believe it’s called Speedwell, a fishing boat with the registration CN318 departing from Port Askaig, the Paps of Jura in the background.

At the end of Evans Walk you reach Loch Tarbert. Close to the shore, right behind the beach, is Glenbatrick Lodge. Behind it Glen Batrick stretches out into the distance, Corra Bheinn (left) and Beinn Shiantaidh (right) at the end.
