An April evening on the west coast of Islay. The sun is reflecting on the water of Machir Bay and the North Channel, stretching out to the Atlantic. The view is from the Kilchoman dunes, looking towards Coull Point and Eilean an Tannais-sgeir to the left of it.
A view of grass, rocks, beach, waves, ocean, clouds and sky (in that order) on the west coast of Islay (Kilchoman beach, Machir Bay, to be precise).
It was still nice and sunny on Islay when I took this picture, although if memory serves me right the shower here still seen over the North Channel caught up with us later. The view is from the Oa, somewhere between Port an Eas and Inveraval. In the distance on the left you can just make out Ireland.
