A view from Port Charlotte on an April morning. The OK rock in the foreground, behind it in the middle distance the Mull of Oa with the American Monument. The mountain in the far distance across the North Channel I believe is Knocklayd near Ballycastle.

I’m not sure what the ship was called, but this is one of the oil tankers delivering oil to Islay at Bruichladdich pier. Here we see it leaving, passing Port Charlotte with the OK rock just visible bottom right. Some of the lights of Bowmore visible in the distance on the left.
