I’m not sure what all the ropes were for (I’m guessing one of the fishing boats?), I just thought they provide a nice foreground to the MV Finlaggan arriving in Port Askaig at the Sound of Islay

A beautiful June evening on the east coast of Jura, on the top of Ardfernal Hill (85m) looking west. The Bay of Small Isles with Craighouse in the distance on the left. Towards the right the Paps of Jura with the sun setting behind Beinn an Oir and Beinn Shiantaidh, the two highest Paps. Not visible the thousands and thousands of midges attacking me while taking the pictures for the panorama…
