Taking a rest on a landing light, a Pied Wagtail at Islay International Airport. The just landed service plane from Glasgow in the background.
Pied Wagtail and plane at Islay Airport

Probably a sight you don’t get on many golf courses. This is the golf course on Islay’s neighbour Colonsay, which is right next to the island’s airfield. A small plane is coming in to land on the landing strip just to the left of the picture. I wonder if the golfers have to stop play when a plane is approaching or leaving to ensure they don’t accidentally hit it with a golf ball?
