An October afternoon at the south east coast of Islay. We’re looking across Loch Laphroaig (Laphroaig distillery is behind us to the right) along the shore towards Port Ellen (not visible). The hills of the Oa in the distance on the horizon.

A memory from back in 2003, when there was scaffolding around Carraig Fhada lighthouse. I assume it was for painting and maybe other repairs. A Calmac ferry in the distance, I believe the MV Hebridean Isles.
