A calm July day on the south coast of Islay, at Kilnaughton Bay near Port Ellen. The sea is calmly lapping on the rocks, sands and stones along the shore.
A memory from my late mother’s first visit to Islay bck in 2003. One of the many places I took her to were the Singing Sands near Port Ellen. Unfortunately it was a rather cloudy and later rainy day, I remember we only just made it back to the car before the heavens opened for deluge of rain.
