Not far north east of Sanaigmore Bay are some very nice and quite big pebble beaches. Although I’m not sure if pebble is the right word, as the pebbles are quite big, maybe these are stone beaches? But that sounds strange?

Only visible at low tide (and when not covered by the ever shifting sand), a few rocks on Kilchoman beach covered with mussels clinging on to them.

A view from Uiskentuie beach over to Bruichladdich, with the distillery left of centre and the new white warehouses on the hill behind. The older original warehouses towards the right.
