Not long after sunrise on a beautiful April morning, a brief stop at Loch Indaal on the way to Port Askaig for the ferry to Jura. A great start for the day of a walk to the Corryvreckan in the far north of Jura.

A departure from Islay a while ago. Low clouds hanging over the Sound of Islay, giving it an almost mystical atmosphere. Not much too see of McArthur’s Head with the lighthouse and the hills behind though….
