A view across Ardnave Loch on a June late afternoon, a pair of Mute Swans feeding with their cygnets. Also a few Sand Martins (I think) flying past.
Taken on an April afternoon on Islay many many Moons ago, two Hares resting on the shore of Ardnave Loch.
Earlier on these Swans had been spread out over Ardnave Loch, but when I returned from a short walk through the dunes on a blustery day on Islay they had all huddled together. Most of them are Whooper Swans, but there were a few Mute Swans among them as well.
