I played with this dog for a while during a visit to Laphroaig distillery in June 2024, it kept returning various sticks from Loch Laphroaig as I threw them out for it. Not sure if it was local, but it didn’t seem to belong to any of the other visitors around, so I assume it is living somewhere at Laphroaig or nearby on Islay.

A curious dog running towards me on Kilchoman beach on the west coast of Islay. Quite like the reflection of it mirrored in the wet sand below.
