Following the view of Bowmore and Port Charlotte from Beinn Tart a’Mhill we turn right and now look out to the Oa with the Mull of Oa and the American Monument on the right. In the distance on the left also some of the hills of Kintyre.
A panoramic view over Loch Indaal from Beinn Tart a’Mhill, at 232m the highest hill on the Rhinns of Islay. In the foreground Port Charlotte with the Loch Indaal lighthouse towards the left. Opposite on the other side of the loch is Bowmore, if you look closely you can also spot Gartbreck on the right hand side of the picture.
A view south east from from Knockdon, overlooking Bridgend Woods with Eallabus (front left), Islay House Square (behind Eallabus) and Islay House (to right of Islay House Square). Eallabus for a while held the record of the longest rainy spell in the UK (but not any more).
