A slightly dodgy panorama from an Islay Beach Rugby tournament a decade ago. If you look closely you’ll spot some of the same players twice, as they advanced while the panorama was taken.
Back in 2011 Port Ellen pier was extended to accommodate the new larger Islay ferry MV Finlaggan. Here’s a view of a crane used for the construction on the pier with the barley boat in the background.
