A view back from an April afternoon crossing to Islay on the MV Finlaggan. Despite the overcast skies the long distance visibility was very good, allowing a nice view of the hills of the Isle of Arran towering over the lower landscape of the Kintyre peninsula.

On the left the northern end of Jura, on the right Scarba, the Gulf of Corryvreckan between them. The smaller islands in the foreground are Eilean na h-Eairne, Eilean na Cille and Garbh Rèisa.
