As of writing this the SY Drum isn’t sailing any more, but it was back in 2010 it was still in action. Here it is anchored at Port Ellen in front of the old distillery and the maltings, seen from the arriving ferry.

An October crossing on the MV Hebridean Isles to Islay. Looking back towards Argyll and Kennacraig we can admire the bright Moon up in the sky above a bank of clouds.
