A regular visitor to Islay and Jura, here the schooner Flying Dutchman is anchored in the Bay of Small Isles just off Craighouse on Jura

A view from the slopes of Beinn Dubh, looking north over the Sound of Islay. Jura on the right. In the distance on the Islay shore you can just make out the small lighthouse at Carraig Mhòr. On the right the sailing yacht under spinnaker I had seen below the Paps earlier.

I’m not sure what it is called (my OS map isn’t helpful in this case), but we visited this nice small beach during the Jura walk of the Islay walking week 2019. It’s in the south east of Jura, near Port na Lotha.
