There aren’t many wooded areas on Jura, one of the biggest is in the south eastern corner of the island. Near a place marked Sannaig on my OS map I took this picture of some mossy trees in some dense woodlands.

Spotted next to the ferry ramp at Feolin Ferry on Jura, an Oystercatcher on the pebble shore. In the background on the other side of the Sound of Islay the small lighthouse at Carraig Mhòr.

A panoramic view of this popular beach on Islay’s neighbour Jura. Loch na Mile on the left, the Bay of Small Isles in the distance on the right. You can’t really see it in this view, but Craighouse in the distance on the right.
